How to Create Your Destiny with Gratitude – The Power of Gratitude
“How to create your destiny with gratitude” might sound odd to some people, and you might even ask, “Is there really power behind gratitude?”
Most of us grow up in a house where Mom taught you to say “thank you”, which is good in itself. But did Mom teach you why you need to be grateful and when to be grateful, and did she teach you the real principle behind the two words “Thank You”?
I don’t have stats, but I think I might not be wrong if I say I think one out of 1000 moms in the would understand this simple principal when I was a kid, and today since The Secret has been exposed to the world, it might be one out of 100.
For me when I was growing up, the words “thank You” was just a form of good manners towards other people, and that is where it stopped; but today I have a better understanding of the power of gratitude, and I will be forever grateful. So let me share some principles with you and show you “How to Create Your Destiny with Gratitude”.
Wallace Wattles made the following statement in his book, The Science of Getting Rich:
”There is a law of gratitude, and if you are to get the results you seek, it is absolutely necessary that you should observe this law”
Now what is that law that is behind gratitude? That law is that there is energy behind it, and the more you are grateful about something, the more energy you create for yourself to get more of what you are grateful for.
As we know from what we learn from people like Napoleon Hill and the Bob Proctors of the world is that what you think about you bring about. It is also a fact that if you are grateful for something, you can’t think about something negative at the same time.
Gratitude is so important because it is a very high energy positive vibration of thought. It is powerfully attractive!
Wallace Wattles also says this:
“You cannot exercise much power without gratitude because it is gratitude that keeps you connected with power. The creative power within us makes us into the image of that to which we give our attention. The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best, therefore it will receive the best.“
So how do you create your destiny with gratitude? The answer is, to be grateful in advance, because by doing that you only think about the things you do want and not the things you do not want. If you can train your mind to be consistently grateful about your goals that you set for yourself and grateful towards the universe or God that you will accomplish them, then you create your destiny.

Hello Thenus
Science tells us that an “attitude of gratitude” is a good health choice. And the best news about gratitude is that it requires little time and no money. Theuns thanks for making it clear that the words “thank You” are more than just good manners towards other people. John Templeton says, “Heartfelt gratitude is one of the most powerful spiritual tools that we have. Gratitude is an energy multiplier.”
Thanks

Theuns,
your remarkable and right on point. Very well done!
Being thankful for everyday things is what most just do not get. Take things for granted is more like it.
If everyone takes just one moment and think that each new day your alive is a blessing. Be thankful for that and being able to open your eyes.
How about a roof over your head and food in that stomach?
Too many things to be grateful for, right. Living in the attitude of gratefulness is a true pleasure and will give your lifestyle the prosperity you desirve.
Theuns, one of our great visionaries. I am so happy to call you my friend. This is amazing what you have started and I am honored to be a part of it.

Being Thankful is so important, especially in the little thing. It easy to be thankful in the big things, but what about the everyday things. Watch someone light up when you thank them for doing their job, make a huge difference and their day and will make your day better too!
Thank You
Have a Great Day

Theuns,
I never realized how ingrained the words “thank you” were into my vocabulary until I was in college.
I was taking a summer school class for speaking, so I did not have to take it during the school year. One of the other students in the class told me near the end that she always remembers me coming up to her the first day asking her if I was in the right place, being polite to her and actually “Thanking her” for the help!
I did not even clearly remember the event, but she remembers me saying “Thanks!”
That is the power of a little gratitude!

Great advice Theuns … there is so much we can do to create our own destiny – one of my favorite sayings is “what could I do if I refuse to fail?” It’s all in the attitude, and definitely starts with gratitude

Hi Theuns, Gratitude has been a part of my life for years now. The power behind this mindset is amazing.
When I want to accomplish a specific goal I write down a phrase that is in the present moment like “I am grateful that I am successful.” I write it where I can see it every day and say it aloud for about 5 minutes.
This tricks the subconscious into believing that it is happening. Then, by saying it aloud so you can hear it and reading it so you can see it, the collective consciousness hears it also. What happens? It comes to you!
The word grateful is a MUST in this affirmation. I find it really works. Thanks for all you do.

Donna, I love this suggestion as well. I also learned a secret from a gentleman who is in recovery from alcohol: he stated that one of the ways he deals with Fear is to create a Fears to Gratitude list. One one side of the paper he writes his fear, and on the other side, he writes the gratitude for his Creator’s help with resolving that fear.
