How to create your world from within

How to create your world from within?  There may be a lot of people who might have a lot of questions about my header, but stay with me and I might just be able to open some truth to you about how the Creator of the Universe created you and how He created the world.  So let’s see if I can show you how to create your world from within.

Let’s start with a question and then go from there:  How does everything you see in this world come into existence?   Your answer to the question might be, “Well, it’s easy Theuns.  Somebody created it with his hands or equipment that he or she could use.”  And I will say to you, yes, but that is only the visual out flow of the creation itself, but it is not where it all started.

If we look at the ancient scripture like the Bible, it states in the fist sentences that “in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless…” then a bit later it says, “And God said, let there be light…”  Look closely at the next part that says “And God said…”  So where was it before he said it?  May I tell you were it was?  It was only an idea . . . a thought or a dream or desire that He wanted to bring into existence, and I believe that He already had a picture in his mind of how He wanted it to look.

The point that I want to make is that God first thought about the world and how he wanted it to look before He started to create it; and then he followed the next Universal principle, and that is to speak it into existence — “And God said, let there be light…”.  As God started to Create the world, at some point he created us; but He did not just create us like the trees  or flowers, but by using these words “let us make men in our image, in our likeness and let them rule over… so God created man in his own Image.”  The words “image and likeness ” in the dictionary mean also “reproduction, representation, reflection, Illustration, copy, portrait, similarity”.  Now if you look at Jesus, “The Master Teacher” or “Son of God” He said also at some point “You will be able to do the same as I do and bigger things.”

In short, He created us as “co-creators“ to create our own world from within us in the world He created for us.  Now, what do I mean by this?  What I mean is that we are not puppets that are controlled by somebody else.  We can think for ourselves and decide for ourselves.  Not even God does that for us, and that is why he created our mind for us to create whatever we want.

If you watched The Secret” you will remember that Mike Dolly said at one point,

“What you think about you bring about.”

The Ancient texts also say in Proverbs,“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he,and then in Proverbs 18:21 it says “life and death is in the power of the tongue, and those who use it will eat the fruit of it.”   You can’t speak before you think, even if it feels like you did.  Let’s call it “autopilot thinking  by the subconscious mind.

The above paragraph is, in a nutshell, the answer to “how to create your world from within.”  If you want to create good things in your life, you need to cultivate your subconscious mind by giving it the right pictures to look at; for example, your goals, dream board or mind movie, and apply the power of intention and visualization, like I talked about in my previous posts .

Let me give you a short list of things you can do to cultivate your Mind.

  1. Write down your Goals.
  2. Make a dream board for yourself.
  3. Create a mind movie.
  4. Do a self talk every day.
  5. Write down your main goal every day.
  6. Do visualization and meditation every day.
  7. Thank God every day for the good things that are on their way to you.
  8. Write down your main goal 15 times every day.
  9. Read good books
  10. Surrender yourself to positive people.
  11. Apply the power of intention.

I have applied what you just read, and that is how I created the “gratitude!” game and also attracted my co-creator Steve Vernon into my life to help me creating more than just a game, but a new gratitude movement in the world, because “It’s all about gratitude!”

I know I might shake some religious people’s points of view about creation, but maybe it’s time for a paradigm shift just to understand how we were created from the beginning of the world.

As Napolion Hill said, “If the student is ready the teacher will appear.”

So if the teacher did appear then I am glad he did.  If not, that is ok with me, because not everyone is ready at the same time.

So many people live their lives to believe they are not in control of it and let others control them. Often those being controlled are not being done in goodness.

They never realize that they can do wonders by just putting their mind and heart to it.

I have met people who are like this and they tend to be frustrating to talk to…and out of them, few do actually start to realize they can do good on their own… it is a relief to see.

  38. Theuns,
I do believe that our thoughts are the controlling factor in our lives. Our thoughts are only under our control if we chose to take that control. Unfortunately we often think only based on old learned patterns of thought and habit which in often cases creates exactly what we don’t want in our world.

So as you pointed out so well, we can create our world from within by thinking intently through visualization and meditation on exactly what we desire in our world and also using your 11 steps to cultivate our minds.

Thank you for writing so well about the internal source we have to improve our world and to be grateful for all that is already in our world.

    Hi Theuns,

Thanks for this thought provoking post.

Your list of things to do to cultivate your mind is right on target. These are all very important ingredients in achieving the proper mindset.

Many people underestimate the power of writing your goals down on paper… but, when you actually write a goal down, it is as if you are programming it into your subconscious mind and activating a whole series of mental powers that will enable you to accomplish more than you ever dreamed of.

By writing it down you intensify your desire for the goal and you increase your belief that the goal is possible.

Your desire for this goal must be so intense that the very idea of achieving your major purpose excites you and makes you happy.

If you can do that, hopefully the other steps will fall into place.

  59. I love the way you started this post.

I also love the saying “When all else fails, follow the directions.” That advice is based on a law as
universal as gravity – the Law of Design, which states: “Things work well when they function according to the way they were designed: they work poorly (or not at all) when that design is violated.” God, the Master Designer, made the water, sky, and land; then He made creatures suited for each environment. So it should not surprise us to
discover that birds make terrible submarines, or that fish have trouble climbing trees. The same design apparent in both solar system and desert flower is is humans. Follow it and there is harmony and
    fulfillment.

  66. Theuns, thank you for the very helpful article about being co-creators with God. I agree with you, but at some points I would want to qualify: Scripture teaches, in essence, that we are here to serve God and to carry out His Purposes. The only thing that I am a bit careful with when asking for things, is remembering that I am here to bring glory to my Creator. So I want to ask for things and dreams that are consistent with what I know to be true of Him. I don’t want to ask purely for my own good, as if He is my Genie, but I do want to ask for big things that will please Him and bless others. Does that make sense?
