The Law of Giving — Giving with Gratitude
The Law of Giving and the idea of giving with gratitude is maybe one of the best ways to put the Law of Attraction into action in your life. The Law of Giving and Receiving is part of the seven power principals and laws of success that you can or need to apply to attract good things into your live.
The seven Power Principals are:
1. The Power of Understanding
2. The Power of Mindset
3. The Power of Vision
4. The Power of Partnership
6. The Power of Gratitude
7. The Power of Accountability
But for this post I will only focus on the power of giving and especially giving with gratitude.
Winston Churchill said:“We make I living by what we get. We make a life by what we give”.
Plato also said: “When you feel grateful, you become great and eventually attract great things”
Now can you imagine how powerful it will be if you give with a grateful heart every time you give something away towards a good cause? Why do you think successful people teach you to give 10% of your income to charity? If you give to charity or something for a good course, then you feel good; and if you feel grateful that you were able to do so, you add more good energy to it. Just image how much power will go into it and what the boomerang effect it will have towards you.
The great book, the Bible, teaches us,” What you sow you shall reap”. This is not just a spiritual law, but a universal law of giving and receiving that you will find in every major spiritual and cultural tradition. What you put into the ground will come up, and if you sow into good ground then you will reap good things that will come back to you. It is like the law of gravitation — it always works, whether you believe in it or not or whether you know about it or not.
According James Ray (from The Secret movie) in his book “The Science of Success”, giving is one of the most powerful principles in the laws of success for two reasons.
1. If you give great service and value to others, you will receive great returns.
2. Giving is one of the quickest ways to plant new ideas and new realities of abundance into your unconscious mind. When you give, you tell your unconscious that you have more than enough and that you live in total abundance. You don’t have to be hoard, guard carefully what you have, be stingy, or hold back in a way. ‘you can always attract to yourself more than you need – at any point of time, and from unlimited supply.
By just understanding this you will be able to put the Law of Attraction in action faster than you think.
Well, with this said, I want to give you the opportunity to apply The Law of Giving with the “It’s all about grAtitude!” project that Steve and I have created. Just Go to the Kickstarter page. for more info or click on the banner Below.
Thank you for your comments and I looking forward to hear from you.

Theuns, I love your 7 principles. Gratitude is such a huge force, and so vastly under-utilized. I absolutely love the two quotes you shared from Churchill and Plato: Do you believe we can give and be grateful ‘selfishly’, knowing those things will reap rewards? Or do we need to consciously detach ourselves from the outcomes? If so, how do you suggest we do that?

Hi Theuns,
great post about giving. Lots of good points.
I like the way you tie in the Bible quote, and the way you say “imagine how powerful it will be if you give with a grateful heart”.
The attitude with which we give is so important.
Thank you for the post.
Hi Doug

Hello Theuns
Heartfelt gratitude is one of the most powerful spiritual laws. John M. Templeton wrote, “An attitude of gratitude creates blessing. The very reason for being thankful can begin to multiply. Wakinging up each day with a wonderful feeling of thanksgiving for life itself creates a day filled with exciting adventures. Gratitude is an energy multiplier.
Thanks

Absolutely! Giving is such a powerful force. It’s not even about what you will get in return, since truly giving looks for nothing in return, but about the great feeling of empowerment that giving gives us!

My favorite word is Gratitude. Your insight and advice of giving, Theuns is a wonderful reminder to add into our busy days. Take the time for each other and do it with intention.
We all go through and experience many different things in life. It is good to know when others are willing to help with no expectations. I am so grateful for my family and friends – and in business, it is amazing how many people I have met and continue to meet that I am very grateful for. I look forward to learning more about you Theuns, reading more of your articles as you have a wonderful positive site!

Theuns, As usual, another stellar post on the Law of Giving. Following the 7 power principle leads one to a peaceful life. Gratitude is the key. When I wake in the morning the very first thing I do is to ponder what I am grateful for and thank God for all of these things. It is better than a cup of coffee lol.
What resonates the most is the quote from Plato: “When you feel grateful, you become great and eventually attract great things”
As for your Gratitude project, I am grateful that I am part of it. I can envision this as a great tool for all to use. Not only to remind business people about the law of gratitude, but beyond that I think of kids.
This is a wonderful opportunity to use this game to teach young people. Also I envision that this is a great tool for therapists to use.
I know this is something that will enhance my own business.
Thank you for your expression from your heart and soul. You are amazing!

Hey Theuns,
Excellent article, thanks so much for sharing the seven power principles with us.
I can’t think of any other industry on the planet today that teaches and encourages us so strongly that we follow these seven principles in our business and indeed, in everything that we do.
Again, thanks for sharing Theuns,
Kevin

Hi Thenus and Steve,
I appreciate the depth of the 7 Power Principles. Could you imagine a world which everyone applied them to their lives?
It’s very exciting to see the progression of the Gratitude Project. I had a telephone conversation with Steve and we both agreed that gratitude will become a movement soon. The world is changing and people will have to look to each other in gratitude to handle the circumstances that are on the horizon. It’s time that the pendulum swings back from selfishness and greed to helping and being grateful for what we have.
Your project will be a great success because of the dedication and vision you both have. You are offering everyone a chance to evaluate their focus and move it towards something more meaningful than just gathering material things and status.
These are the times we must open our hearts and share our uniqueness and gifts with others. It is a time to reach out and help when we are able. I know this sounds cliche’ but we cannot help others unless we help ourselves. So first things first!
Your store is awesome. The designs are beautiful and the message is timely. I will be delighted to watch you reach success! You will!

Hi Theuns, Thanks for the 7 Power Principle. It’s something people should enjoy going by instead of having to go by. Giving is really easy when you really care about others.
Especially when we appreciate what we have in family and friends. Even every bad circumstance that comes into our lives I already know that it’s for a better reason. Something (eventually)good always happens from it if we look for the good instead of the bad.
It’s always there because you really do eventually reap what you sow and so we know we should sow what we enjoy everyday. That’s true abundance. Doesn’t matter where we are in the social economic ladder. Just had to say that.
I’m glad to see you partnering up with Steve Vermon. You have a really great idea of what people want. You’re putting together something that I’m interested in. Very unique stuff for the family. I think you’ve tapped into a profitable market. You’re the Man!
Talk to you soon my friend!
